Kassel Dummy Award 2023

The Kassel Dummy Award is the international competition for the best unpublished photobook dummy of the year. In cooperation with The PhotoBookMuseum, Cologne and MAS Matbaa, Istanbul, we invite all photographers worldwide to take part. From all entries, 50 books will be selected for a shortlist to be exhibited at international photography events

From these 50 shortlisted books, 5 winning books will be selected. One of these books will receive the PBM/MAS Dummy Prize and will be produced and published by MAS Matbaa and The PhotoBookMuseum. The other 4 winning books will receive a production grant for printing. The registration period will end on 31 January 2023. The international exhibition tour of the shortlisted books will start in March 2023 and run until 2024.
